Citizens participating in the “Peace and Democratic Society Meetings” organized by the DEM Party emphasized that the state must take action in the process and underlined that Abdullah Öcalan’s physical freedom should also be ensured.
DEM Party Deputy Ali Bozan, noting that the process has entered a new phase following Abdullah Öcalan’s video call, said, “Mr. Öcalan, the PKK, and the Kurdish people have done their part. Now, it’s the ruling government’s, the state’s turn to take steps.”
