Sabri Kaya, who lost two of his children during the conflict, asked the state to take steps as soon as possible and said, "This people do not want peace without Öcalan. There will be no peace without Serok (Leader) Apo."
Members of the Wan Peace Mothers' Assembly emphasised that Abdullah Öcalan's physical freedom must be ensured in order for the ongoing process to evolve into peace and said: "We want our language, identity and existence to be recognised."
