Rehan Bayık's funeral was held at the Regional Mosque. The funeral ceremony was attended by Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Co-chair Keskin Bayındır, People's Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party MP Saliha Aydeniz, MP Serhat Eren, DBP Women's Council, Free Women's Movement (Tevgerê Jinên Azad-TJA), DEM Party Xarpêt (Elazığ), Çewlîg (Bingöl), Dêrsim provincial organisations, DEM Party co-mayors and many others. Rehan Bayık was buried in a ceremony held at the village cemetery. 

 

The crowd that attended the funeral then went to the Veysel Karani Mosque in the University Quarter, where condolences were accepted, and paid their respects.
