ISTANBUL - Journalist Elif Akgul, who was arrested on 21 February as part of the operation against HDK, was released. 
 
Journalist Elif Akgul, who was arrested on 21 February in Istanbul within the investigation against the Peoples' Democratic Congress (HDK), was release. The release decision was issued upon the objection of the Media and Law Studies Association (MLSA). Elif Akgül is expected to be released from Bakırköy Women's Closed Prison in the coming hours.
