People to march to Amara

RIHA – The people, gathering at 4 April Park under the slogan “Towards a Democratic National Union with Free Leadership”, are set to march to the Amara neighbourhood.
 
On the fourth day of the Amara Festival Days, organised under the slogan “Towards a Democratic National Union with Free Leadership”, the people are preparing to march to the Amara neighbourhood, the birthplace of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan. 
 
The march will be joined by Veysi Aktaş and Çetin Arkaş, as well as the Co-Chairs of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Çiğdem Kılıçgün Uçar and Keskin Bayındır, and the Co-Spokesperson of the Democratic Unity Initiative Gülcan Kaçmaz Sayyiğit, alongside representatives from civil society organisations and political parties.  
 
The crowd, gathering at 4 April Park for the march, is preparing to set off chanting slogans such as “Long live Leader Apo (Bijî Serok Apo)”, “Rojbûna te pîroz be ey Serok Apo (Happy birthday, Leader Apo)”, and “Youth are Apo’s loyal followers”.
