Peace Mother Münibe Koç said: 'Gergerlioğlu is our will. When you are taken into custody at 6 o’clock in the morning, I felt that the whole parliament was collapsed. We thought of Orhan Doğan and Leyla Zana. I hope justice will be served. We always wanted justice. Whether you are a member of the parliament or not, you are our will, you are our MP."

Gergerlioğlu replied, "You are our mothers, who called me when I was released out of custody and expressed your sadness. The people choose me and I choose to resist. They tend to forget that we are not a handful of people. We have at least 7 million people behind us who voted for us."
