First issue of Azadiya Welat published after ten years
NEWS CENTER – The first issue of Kurdish newspaper Azadiya Welat, has been published after 10 years with the headline “Our direction for the future is towards the sun; Azadiya Welat once again”.
Azadiya Welat has resumed publication after regaining its name rights. After 10 years, Azadiya Welat Newspaper resumed publication where Xwebûn left off. The newspaper's first issue was published with the headline "Our direction for the future is towards the sun; Azadiya Welat once again."
The editorial in the newspaper stated, “…As Azadiya Welat, we are back among you after 10 years. We believe that with the support and solidarity of our readers, we will grow even stronger.”
The newspaper's first issue featured a statement by MAF-DAD Co-Chair Mahmut Şakar, drawing attention to the conditions of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
The newspaper's first issue featured writers Mülkiye Birtane, Medenî Ferho, Felemez Ulug, Hesen Huseyîn Denîz, Adar Gulan, Adar Jiyan, Kurdistan Lezgiyeva, Tayip Temel, Salîha Ayata, War Botan, Siyabend Aslan, Lîzşêr Amed, Nesrîn Adar, Zaza Cebelî, Fatma Taşli Tunç, Xelîl Xemgîn, Alî Guler, and Serdar Altan.
