Peace Mothers in front of Foreign Affairs Ministry

ANKARA – Peace Mothers set out from various cities in Kurdistan and Turkey in protest against the attacks on Kurds in Aleppo and they have arrived in Ankara. 
 
Members of the Peace Mothers Council set out from many cities in Kurdistan and Turkey in protest against the attacks by armed groups affiliated with the Syrian Interim Government and supported by Turkey in Aleppo. Mothers have arrived in Ankara.
 
The Peace Mothers gathered in front of the ministry to protest against Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, who had issued a statement supporting the attacks against the Kurds.
 
The police set up barricades to prevent the mothers from marching. The mothers continued their resistance in front of the barricade with slogans such as "Bijî berxwedana Rojava (Long live the resistance of Rojava)”, "Jin, jiyan, azadî (Women, life, freedom)”, and "No to war, peace now".
