ISTANBUL - Arrested IBB Deputy Secretary General Mahir Polat will be referred to the hospital again upon the request of ATK.
Forensic Medicine Institution (ATK) requested some missing analyses and tests to be performed on Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) Deputy Secretary General Mahir Polat, who was arrested within the scope of investigations against IBB. Polat was brought to ATK from Marmara Closed Prison in Silivri yesterday morning. Polat, who was examined by an expert committee, was transferred back to the prison after his procedures were completed.
It was stated that the ATK sent a letter to the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office requesting that Polat be referred to a hospital for some analyses and examinations missing in the file.
It was noted that the relevant committee will make a decision according to the results of the analyses and examinations.
