İmralı Delegation: Kurdish actors agrees solution will be led by Öcalan

SULAYMANIYAH - Making a statement at the grave of Jalal Talabani, "All Kurdish actors agrees the solution of the Kurdish issue will be under the leadership of Mr Öcalan and this will benefit all Kurds," said Keskin Bayındır from the İmralı Delegaiton 
 
The Imrali Delegation of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) started its contacts in Hewlêr (Erbil) city of the Federated Kurdistan Region and continues today in Sulaymaniyah. The delegation met with Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Chair Bafel Talabani and Deputy Prime Minister of the Federated Kurdistan Region Qubat Talabani in Debashan (Jalal Talabani's house) today.
 
Making a statement on behalf of the delegation at Jalal Talabani's grave after the meeting, DBP Co-chair Keskin Bayındır said, "We shared Mr Öcalan's messages with Qubat and Bafel Talabani. We had an important meeting for about an hour and a half."
 
Stating that they discussed the solution of the Kurdish issue, the situation in Rojava and peace between the Kurdish-Turkish peoples, Bayındır said, "Mam Celal (Jalal Talabani) played his role in the previous peace talks, and today Bafil and Qubat Talabani are playing their role. Kurdish actors will play a historic role in this process. We have full faith in this. We thank them for this. Our people can rest assured that all Kurdish actors will support this peace project. That is why we are happy with the talks we have held."
 
'KURDISH ISSUE CAN BE SOLVED UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF MR ÖCALAN'
 
Stressing that they have been meeting in the Federated Kurdistan Region for 3 days on the basis of unity, "There is a turmoil in Rojava (West), Başur (South) and Rojhilat (East), but we have expectations and hope taht the Kurdish people will achieve great success. All Kurdish actors agree that the solution of the Kurdish issue will be under the leadership of Mr Öcalan and that this will benefit all Kurds. In this framework, the solution and peace project can only be achieved under the leadership of Mr Öcalan. We will support Mr Öcalan's project, power and initiative with all our strength. We will do whatever we can for a solution in this process. From here we can declare to all our people and the world that the Kurdish people are united for the solution and peace project. All Kurdish actors and parties are determined to protect their gains and to achieve peace. This is a great hope for Kurdistan."
 
WRITTEN STATEMENT TO BE MADE
 
Stating that a written statement will be made in the coming days regarding the meetings, Bayındır said, "Our delegation wanted to hold meetings with all political parties here, but our means did not allow us to do so. Therefore, we apologise to the other parties we could not meet. However, they should know that Mr Öcalan values every individual. We convey Mr Öcalan's greetings to all the political parties we could not meet. We also ask the Kurdish actors and parties we could not meet to support Mr Öcalan's peace project. The talks of our delegation ended here. Our delegation will make a written and detailed statement to the public about the talks in the coming days."
 
Stating that they also held a meeting with PUK Political Bureau member Shanaz Ibrahim Ahmed, Bayındır added, "Şehnazxan's (Shanaz Ibrahim Ahmed) stance is very valuable for the struggle of Kurdish women and the Kurdish people, and for the Kurdish people to achieve an honourable and free life in the world. I would like to share her expectation and call with you; Şehnazxan shared with us her wish and call for all Kurdistan women, all women and segments of the world who want peace and freedom to support Mr Öcalan."
