AMED - Hüseyin Beyoğlu, who has been associated with all kinds of corruption and criminal offenses since the day YSK appointed him to Rezan Municipality, hired AKP Women's Branch President and council member Güzel Kızoğlu in the municipality.
AKP's Hüseyin Beyoğlu, who was appointed by the Supreme Electoral Board (YSK) to Rezan (Bağlar) Municipality, where the People's Democratic Party (HDP) won with a record 71 percent of the votes on March 31, 2019, knows no limits and ethics in favouritism. Beyoğlu, who turned the municipality into a family farm, hired his sister-in-law Deniz Gürdeğir as Vice Mayor and his son Mustafa Beyoğlu in the past weeks, and this time he hired AKP Women's Branch President and Bağlar Municipality Council member Güzel Kızoğlu as a worker in the municipality.
Beyoğlu wanted to appoint Güzel Kızoğlu as Private Secretary with the letter he sent to the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change dated December 19, 2023, regarding permission for open appointment. Without waiting for an answer from the Ministry, Beyoğlu started Kızoğlu to work at the Municipal Personnel Limited Company.
It was learned that Kızoğlu resigned from her position as a council member four days before she was due to start working (March 14).
There are ongoing cases filed against Beyoğlu for many criminal offenses such as corruption, bribery and favouritism.
